Landscape and portrait artist William Simon Wallace moved from Glasgow to York, but he continues to paint scenes from the West Coast of Scotland - especially the islands of Arran, Bute, and the Hebrides including Barra and the Uists. Now, he also paints scenes from North Yorkshire - especially the coastal towns and villages such as Whitby, Bridlington and Staithes. He works mostly in acrylics on canvas - though in a watercolour style and work is exhibited in galleries throughout the West of Scotland and North Yorkshire.
